My oldest memories about photography are related to my dad, in the ’80s, taking pictures with an state-of-the art for the time Russian Zenit camera and then developing and printing in a small home laboratory temporary improvised in our home bathroom.
Later on I was fascinated by new Canon EOS film cameras and zoom lenses but only in 2005 I got my first digital camera. Since then digital became a real passion and I was driven to study and to learn and improve myself. I still use my father’s old Zenit EM from time to time and I love it’s smell of leather and metal and the inconfundable sound of the curtains.
I graduated UPA (Popular Art University) Bucharest in 2007, Photography section.
